Iván Erőd’s works on disc
The article traces the Accord Quartet’s long collaboration with Iván Erőd, from the Hungarian premiere of his Third Quartet to the recording of all three quartets. The sessions took place at Vienna’s Mozarthaus in spring 2018 at the composer’s invitation.
About the article
Devich Sándor introduced the musicians to Erőd during their student years. A 2017 performance of the Second and Third Quartets led to the plan to record the complete set.
